A School Success-A-Thon

If you are a teacher, PTA parent, administrator, counselor, superintendent, or other concerned party in a 1st-12th grade classroom or school district anywhere in America, you can make the difference in how your school or district does fundraising. I have authored a school Success-A-Thon to raise money. There are literally hundreds of non-profits to choose from within your community like RED CROSS, SALVATION ARMY, UNCF, UNICEF, and UNITED WAY.

• With a School Success-A-Thon, you don't get to keep 40%, or 50%, or 60%, or even 80% of your profits. You keep 100%! That's right; I said it and I guarantee it!
• With a School Success-A-Thon you will not only raise money but you get the rare opportunity to promote and showcase the positive performance of the students in your school or district!
• Simply identify a cause that your classroom, school, or district wants to raise money to support, and the rest is as simple as a click on a link and away you go!

	During a month pledge period, each student will work extra hard in school. Students will earn a certain amount of money each week for achieving each of 4 school success skills on a special "School Success-A-Thon" Note postcard.

I am talking about every school student in America pitching in to help in a "School Success-A-Thon" for one month.

At the end of each week, the student will collect the total amount of money pledged by family and friends. Then turn in the funds to the designated staff coordinator.

The only way we recommend getting pledges is from parents, relatives, and close family friends.

School name, purpose of fundraiser, dates of fundraiser, and school district information is personalized. One Letter to Parents/Pledge Card postcard per student.

• Imagine a student body of 500 raising money with a School Success-A-Thon for one month.
• In this example, $2 x 4 skills x 4 weeks x 500 students = $16,000 raised for your cause -- and the school keeps every penny of it!
• This is enough money to feed and house a homeless family, buy band uniforms, take a school field trip, or whatever other worthy need you plan to fill.
• Furthermore, the students will be performing their best work in school during the four weeks of the School Success-A-Thon.

	This is one way to help students realize that working hard in school really does "pay". Students can accomplish a meaningful goal while making themselves and their parents, teachers, administrators, and community proud of them.
